This weekly halaqa is a continuation of McGill's last semester’s series of lectures on the essential aspects of Islamic knowledge and practice. Br. Hassan Mian will continue his explanation of Hanafi fiqh through a reading of Tashil al-daruri li mukhtasar al-qudduri, while br. Omar Edriss will begin a new set of lectures on the famous 40 hadith of Imam Nawawi, which has served for many generations as a source of the most foundational aspects of the Islamic worldview, both in doctrine and ethics.
