Montreal police are trying to identify a man in his 40s who is suspected of vandalizing a Dorval mosque in September 2009.
MONTREAL – Police are asking the public to help identify two suspects in connection with a graffiti attack in September 2009 at a Dorval mosque.
Vandals sprayed the word KORAN 5:51 in orange paint on the doors of an unidentified mosque at 2:35 a.m. Sept. 18.
Less than an hour earlier, the same mosque was vandalized by two suspects who then fled through the Pine Beach pedestrian tunnel, police said.
Surveillance cameras in the tunnel captured images of the pair.
One suspect is described as a white female in her 40s, wearing a light-coloured sweatshirt with a hood.
She was accompanied by a white male in his 40s, wearing a T-shirt bearing the word 'Wildwood.'
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.
